GET EXCITED. A brand new casino is coming to the Pittsburgh area. Nestled in Greensburg at the Westmoreland Mall, Live! Casino Pittsburgh is going to be a must-visit. Opening on November 24th this casino is going to be the best Sunday Funday spot. With 3 restaurants and tons of slot machines and sports betting, there is something for everyone here!
The first bar is Sports & Social Steel City located upstairs overlooking the sports betting area of the casino. This bar is equipped with a 40ft. screen to watch all the games and a screen with the FanDuel sportbook making it perfect for any sports fan. This bar also has a pub food style menu with selections like a Nashville hot chicken sandwich, caramelized pierogis and nachos. I got to try the Nashville hot chicken and the chicken and waffles and they were DELISH. As far as entertainment, S&S also has pay to play games and free games including foosball, skeeball, bowling, a golf simulator & more. During Steelers games, they have DJs and trivia to heighten the game day experience!
The next bar is Guy Fieri’s American Kitchen + Bar. That’s right, our homie from Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives is opening a restaurant right here in Westmoreland County. This restaurant has a grab & go menu and a dine in menu. The menus feature chicken wings, pizzas, sandwiches and some crazy burgers like the Bacon Mac-N-Cheese burger that was voted “Best Burger in Las Vegas” pictured at the bottom of this webpage.
The last bar isn’t coming until 2021, but it’ll be worth the wait. PBR standing for professional bull riders, will be a WILD new bar and lounge. You won’t find a food menu here but there will be lots of cocktails to come and definitely a lot of country and fun with their mechanical bull.
