All About Me!

Hi there! Welcome to my blog, The412Franimal. I am so so happy to have you here along this journey!

My name is Francesca Ferrante, but my friends call me The Franimal. I am a Pittsburgh native, born and raised, and have loved this city ever since I was a little girl (which is where the 412 comes in). If there is one thing to know about me, it’s that I am arguably one of the biggest Steelers fans you will ever meet….like diehard. Other than that, I am a super bubbly, fun-loving 26 year-old with a passion for helping others.

From a young age I always knew that helping people was something I wanted to do and figured the most obvious way to do that was by working in the healthcare field. After 3.5 years of working with educating others on organ donation (a cause which will always be so important to me), I realized there was another way I could help others, while doing something I really loved. I love exploring all the things PGH has to offer from cute happy hour spots to nationally recognized events like Picklesburgh, and want to share my years of knowledge about PGH with tourists and fellow yinzers.

What kind of content can you expect from me?

• Any and all things Pittsburgh! (this means restaurants, sports, breweries, unique date spots, free events, and more)
• Traveling tips, whether it’s a local day trip or a plane ride away
• Affordable fashion (because who wants to spend $$$ on something that will be out of style next season)
• Self-care routines/rituals

I want to help inspire others to live their best lives through creating genuine memories. The thing that makes a moment or experience memorable is the way you feel before, during and after. That is why I want to help you prepare and enjoy every experience to the fullest. By reading about what to expect when you are planning a night out at Southern Tier’s beer garden or heading out to a winter Steelers game, you can skip the worries of planning and just have fun! I want to help make sure your experience is the best EVER!
