For those of you that don’t know what Galentine’s is or aren’t sure how to celebrate it, I am here for ya sista! With Valentine’s Day coming up, chocolates, flowers and love will soon flood social media. There’s a lot of single ladies out there that aren’t fans of the holiday and a lot of ladies in relationships that aren’t too crazy about Valentine’s either. This doesn’t mean we can’t take advantage of all the candies and sweets and pink EVERYTHING that comes along with this February holiday. I’ve decided to put together this guide to throwing a Galentine’s celebration with ease that includes fun times, sweet treats and even some pink cocktails 😉

Local Treats
Bella Christie’s Sweet Boutique
Harvest Moon Coffee and Chocolates

Cocktails
Here is a list of simple and yummy cocktails I’ve searched Pinterest and the blog world to find. SURPRISE: they are all PINK 💗 Each recipe is linked below!
Bailey’s Strawberries & Cream Coladas

Activities
Bonfire: For those of you are located somewhere a little warmer than Pittsburgh or those of you that have an indoor fireplace, a bonfire is a great way to celebrate love with your besties! You can get pink marshmallows for s’mores (original flavor or heart-shaped strawberry flavor) to cutesy it up! Try adding white chocolate bars in the mix or even the strawberries and cream Hershey’s bars. Set out bowls of pink and red M&Ms, Dove chocolate hearts and pink Starbursts. You can’t go wrong with red or pink candy of any sort! If you want to channel your inner Jessica Biel from the movie Valentine’s Day, you can all bring photos of guys that have done you wrong and you got hung up on to release the bad vibes. BURN BABY BURN!

Brunch: Brunch is arguably the most fun activity for your girl gang so think about throwing one at your house for Galentine’s! Have a mimosa bar, coffee bar, Bloody Mary bar, yogurt parfait station, donuts and whatever you can dream up! Add Simply cranberry juice, Simply grapefruit juice, and Simply fruit punch to the mimosa bar for a fun red and pink twist. Donuts obviously can be whatever color you want, and don’t forget the sprinkles! Use strawberry yogurt for the parfait station and have strawberries, raspberries and pomegranate seeds among the toppings. Pair this super photographable spread with a photo shoot! Have all your gals show up in pink, red and white decked out in glitter and sequins for a fun photo shoot. Pick up some headbands and necklaces from your local party store or even Dollar General or Walmart for your guests to accessorize with. Make a photo wall with wrapping paper, Mylar fringe from Five Below, a balloon arch from Amazon and a Galentine’s banner!

Wine Tasting: What screams ladies more than a wine tasting?! Learn the ins and outs of throwing a DIY wine tasting by visiting my blog post from this summer! Instead of going rustic themed, think bright florals, toss some prosecco or sparkling rosé into the mix. Get some faux gems to sprinkle on the table to jazz it up!

PJ Party: If you’re looking for a chill way to celebrate with your ladies, have a pajama party! Turn it into a slumber party if drinking is involved so everyone can stay safe. Cozy up in your favorite silky pajamas or heart themed ones and do at home mani-pedis with pink and red nail polish. You can even order nail decals from Amazon. While you’re letting your nails dry, enjoy some fun cocktails and watch the iconic Valentines movie, Valentine’s Day or the popular Netflix saga To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before.

Crafting/Baking Night: For all of the artsy (or trying to be artsy) girls, this is such a fun night! Crafting can be so relaxing & while baking might not be the most relaxing, at least you get a treat when you’re done LOL. This idea can be as in-depth as you want it to be, which makes it great for all friend groups. Bake a dozen or two of cupcakes & mix up different colors of icing to decorate them. You can use knives to spread, or get piping tips if you want to be fancy! You can also get mini tins from the dollar store and make heard shaped cakes or miniature cakes if you have a smaller group. If you don’t want to go the baking route, you can always paint taper candles from the craft store or make homemade valentines cards – get creative! This idea is great because you can do it low cost with most of the things you & your friends have already, or go all out.

However you decide to celebrate Galentine’s Day this year, I hope you have a fun time doing it 😍
