Not sure what your next fall activity will be? Well I know! Triple B Farms is the best farm/pumpkin patch I’ve ever been to. I’ve been to several over the years and this one is the FULL package. A pumpkin patch, sunflower field, apple orchard, animal farm, farmers market ALL IN ONE. Not to mention all of the fun educational and adorable activities for kids!

To plan for the day, go online and order wristbands that give you access to all of the good stuff (kids 2 & under get in for free). The wristbands give you access from 10am-5pm so if you’re running behind, no worries! You just pick up your wristbands when you arrive. You can also purchase bags for apple picking (only $12 for as many apples as you could fit in the bag).

After we finished there, we headed up to the barn where the educational activities and animals were. They had goats (that you could feed 😍), chicks, bunnies, pigs and even ducks that would go down the slide for you! There were various trivia questions throughout the area with answers displayed to engage the kids and teach them about livestock and farming.

When we finished up with the animals, we hopped on the hayride that was included in our wristband pass. It took us first up to the apple orchards where they had 5 rows of apples and 2 different types for picking. I had no idea different apples were used for different things, but the workers helped direct us towards the “baking” apples and the “snacking” apples.

We hopped back on the hayride and it took us up to the pumpkin patch and sunflower field. You could take photos and pick whatever you wanted to take home. The sunflowers were beautiful and were only $2 per stalk so I got 5 flowers (that grew off of 3 stalks) for $6! They make a lovely edition to my living room ☺️

After riding back down we walked through the area for children where the farm had assembled pumpkins, scarecrows and hay bales to look like tv and story characters, perfect for any family. My favorite was the GIANT Peppa Pig that we passed on the way up to the apple orchard.

Some other notable features: – concessions on-site if you plan to make a full day of it – apple-themed snack stand with cider, apple fries & more – local winery tent for adult beverages – clean portapotties that flushed and an outside hand washing station with real soap, water, and paper towels – moon bounce type platforms (for kids) that were sanitized multiple times per hour

While Triple B is about an hour out of the city, there is so much to do that you could make a full day out of it with friends, family or for a daytime date. Let me know if you end up going!
