
Tis the season! I have compiled a list of holiday themed pop-up bars throughout the city of Pittsburgh for this year’s holiday season.
Wigle Wonderland @ Wigle Whiskey Strip District




What: Wigle Whiskey’s Distillery & Taproom in the Strip District is hosting a holiday-themed pop-up in their tasting event space.

Location: Wigle Whiskey Distillery, 2401 Smallman St, Pittsburgh, PA 15222

Days Open: Thursday – Saturday; November 14 – December 27
Ticket Needed/Cost: No ticket or entry cost
Is There Food? : The pop-up bar does not have food, but the main taproom has a food menu.
The Glitzmas @ Omni William Penn Hotel




What: The Omni William Penn, known for having stunning holiday decor in their lobby, has joined the holiday pop-up scene with a pastel-themed winter wonderland filled with photo ops.

Ticket Needed/Cost: No tickets or reservations needed!
Is There Food? : There is a limited snack menu available featuring veggies & ranch, charcuterie, cookies, trail mix & popcorn.
The Aspen @ Spritzery




What: The Aspen is the ski lodge themed pop-up that takes over the space of The Spritzery during the winter months. Think lively loud music, cozy seating, games & late nights.
Location: Spritzery, 960 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15222
Hours: Wednesdays 4-11pm, Thursdays 4pm-Midnight, Fridays 4pm-2am, Saturdays 1pm-2am & Sundays 1-9pm
Days Open: Wednesday through Sunday
Ticket Needed/Cost: No tickets or reservations needed, but the bar fills up fast later in the night so plan accordingly.
Is There Food? : Yes! They have a food menu linked here. All orders will be served to-go instead of plated & they don’t allow modifications.
Sewickley Sleigh @ Sewickley Quarter



What: A festive pop-up bar at the Sewickley Quarter event venue. This is a more upscale, laid back experience with lots of seating!
Location: Sewickley Quarter, 545 Beaver St, Sewickley, PA 15143
Hours: Wednesdays & Thursdays 5-9pm, Fridays & Saturdays 5-10pm
Days Open: Wednesday through Saturday, November 26th to December 27th
Ticket Needed/Cost : No ticket or entry fee.
Is There Food? : Enjoy dinner at the Sewickley Quarter restaurant attached to the pop-up bar before or after your visit. You can see the menu by clicking here! Reservations are recommended, but not required.
Miracle On 7th @ 130 7th Street

What: An annual holiday pop-up bar in Downtown Pittsburgh! This is the 10th anniversary of this pop-up in Pittsburgh! They do not accept reservations unless you are booking a private party.
Location: 130 7th Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15222
Hours: 4pm – midnight
Days Open: November 22 – December 31; open daily

Is There Food? : Just drinks at Miracle. Eat before you go at one of the downtown restaurants nearby!
Rudolph’s Rooftop @ Il Tetto
Location: Sienna Mercato Rooftop, 942 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15222
Hours: Tuesdays-Thursdays 4-10pm, Fridays 4pm-2am, Saturdays 2pm-2am, Sundays 10am-7pm
Days Open: Tuesday through Sunday
Ticket Needed/Cost: No ticket or entry fee.
Is There Food? : No themed food menu, but Il Tetto offers the ability to order from their first and second floor restaurants, Emporio and Mezzo, for you to pick up and enjoy at Il Tetto. Hours of operation vary.
A Very Merry Mixtape @ Mixtape




What: A holiday-themed pop-up bar in the Bloomfield neighborhood. Mocktails are available during all sessions. Any session before 7pm is open to kids & those under 21 if accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Location: Mixtape, 4907 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15224
Hours: various sessions with the first beginning at 3pm & the last beginning at 7:30pm depending on the day of week
Days Open: Thursday through Sunday; Open November 28 – December 28 + NYE



Ticket Needed/Cost: Yes, a ticket is needed for the session you plan to attend. Purchase tickets ahead of time online. Tickets are $18.34 per person for all sessions & gives you access to the bar for 90 minutes. The cost includes a welcome drink, additional drinks are available for purchase.
Is There Food? : No, just drinks during this 90 minute session.
Atomic Tinsel Cocktail Club @ Industrialist Hotel



What: A cozy holiday pop-up bar at the second floor lounge of the downtown hotel, The Industrialist. Cocktails & mocktails available.
Location: Industrialist Hotel, 405 Wood Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15222A
Hours: 3-9pm Sundays, 5pm-close Mondays-Saturdays
Days Open: Open Daily (closed Thanksgiving & Christmas), November 11 – December 31
Ticket Needed/Cost: No ticket needed, but space is limited due to the smaller nature of the lounge.
Is There Food? : There is a limited menu at the pop-up featuring a cheeseball sampler, cocktail meatballs, pigs in blankets & chips & dip. For a more full dining experience, on the first floor of the hotel you can find The Rebel Room, an American restaurant. Hours & menus can be found here.
Sippin’ Santa @ 130 7th Street

What: An annual holiday tiki bar concept downtown, neighbors with the Miracle Bar.
Location: 130 Wood Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15222
Hours: 4pm – midnight
Days Open: November 22 – December 31; open daily

Is There Food? : No food at this bar.
Bob’s Garage
What: The OG Christmas bar! This isn’t a pop-up, it truly looks like that year round. Every inch of this bar is covered in holiday decor & strings of lights.

Hours: 1pm-2am
Days Open: Monday through Saturday

Is There Food?: As a year round establishment, they have a full food menu centered around bar food.
Jingle Bar @ Eleventh Hour Brewing
What: An annual pop-up at a brand new location this year, the Eleventh Hour Brewery German Village! There will be 21+ sessions as well as family-friendly sessions. Mocktails, cocktails & beers available. Wednesday sessions include live holiday carol performances & group sing-a-longs.

Ticket Needed/Cost: Tickets need purchased ahead of time online. Child tickets are $7.50 & adult cost varies by session from $15.50 to $17. Ticket cost includes a free holiday themed shooter for those 21+.
Is There Food? : Rotating food trucks available at the brewery. Check out the food truck schedule on their instagram.
Naughty & Nice Christmas Experience @ North Park Lounge
What: A new Christmas pop-up experience with 6 themed bars under one roof – Santa Baby, Frosty’s, Buddy’s Lounge, Whoville, White Christmas & North Pole! An update to social media lists that not all rooms are currentlThere are also 2 VIP/private suites available to reserve. Sessions 5-7pm are family-friendly & after that is 21+.

Is There Food? : Food only available for purchase in the NPL restaurant outside of the pop-up experience.
A Reel Christmas Bar @ Market Square
What: A new pop-up bar brought to you by The Yard in Market Square! Three themed rooms, tunes & games including giant pong.
Location: 24 Market Square, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 (Old Barcadia Location)
Hours: Mondays-Wednesdays 4-11pm, Thursdays 4pm-midnight, Fridays 4pm-2am, Saturdays 11-2am, Sundays 11am-11pm

Is There Food?: No food menu here, but stop next door at The Yard, their sister restaurant for some grub.
A Christmas Bar on Butler
What: A new holiday pop-up bar in Lawrenceville behind the Row House Cinema on Butler St.

Hours: Thursdays 5pm-midnight, Fridays 5pm-2am, Saturdays 12pm-2am

A Very Merry Pop-Up Bar @ 1781 Club
What: South of the city you’ll find this pop-up bar nestled in the 1781 Club. Similar to Sewickley Sleigh, this one is a more upscale pop-up.
Location: 1781 Club, 681 Church Hill Road, Finleyville, PA 15332
Hours: Wednesdays & Thursdays 10am-10pm, Fridays & Saturdays 10am-11pm, Sundays 10am-3pm (some dates with special hours)

Is There Food?: Yes! Six seasonally themed bites are available – ornament cheeseball, holiday poutine, Christmas tree deviled eggs, gingerbread cheesecake dip, elf on the shelf snack mix & Christmas tree cake.
