THE PERFECT PITTSBURGH DAY part 3 – a series with mini itineraries for a perfect day in Pittsburgh! Great for when you have out of town visitors or are looking for a day of fun in our little city.

FIRST STOP: Brunch at The Nook. This is my FAVORITE brunch spot in the city. Their coffee bar is always killer, their breakfast & lunch options are truly amazing + they serve cocktails if you’re looking for an alcoholic bev to accompany your meal! Open everyday from 8am-3pm, you can kick off your day early or later on. My go-to breakfast order is the eggsuberant because it comes with pancakes, eggs, breakfast meat choice & THEIR POTATOES. The owner Evren is truly a sweetheart & runs a stand up joint (he also owns Geppetto Cafe if crepes are more of your breakfast vibe).

SECOND STOP: Tour the Clemente Museum! It is honestly crazy to me that more people are not talking about this museum. It is by far the best hidden gem in Pittsburgh. For only $21 (in honor of Clemente’s number) you can tour the museum filled with memorabilia from Clemente’s career, baseball greats & overall Pittsburgh sports history. Executive Director Duane Rieder has worked closely with the Clemente family over the years to showcase his legacy on & off the field. This is a no brainer for anyone who loves Pittsburgh or baseball! Tours typically start at 11am and the last sessions kick off at 2pm with the exception of some 6pm tours. Tickets linked here!

LAST STOP(S): Shop your way down Butler Street! Lawrenceville is a hub for so many unique small businesses. Clothing, accessories, plants, home goods, eclectic gifts & more! Journey as far down Butler Street as you’d like! Some of my favorites are Von Walter + funkBALLOON, Boheme, Una Biologicals, Wildcard, Sam’s Vintage, and Rosie’s Workshop. Honestly through, you can’t go wrong stopping in any store!
