THE PERFECT PITTSBURGH DAY part 1 – a series with mini itineraries for a perfect day in Pittsburgh! Great for when you have out of town visitors or are looking for a day of fun in our little city.

FIRST STOP: Cafe Conmigo for a coffee flight! This spot has such a relaxing vibe with plants all around the shop & other goods from local artisans for sale. Their coffee flights are great because they don’t add a whole lot of craziness to it, but you can ask for your choice of milk on the side. It lets you try out the coffees before & after adding milk which is a huge vibe for me. They also have full size options of typical coffee beverages & some seasonal faves like their pecan pie latte!

SECOND STOP: Soergel Orchards for a day at the pumpkin patch! Their fall festival runs Saturdays & Sundays through 10/27 which features hayrides, pumpkin & apple picking, a corn maze, fall treats & more! This is a great day for the family, a date, or just friends. Their baked goods section is SOOO incredible. Also Arsenal Cider has a shop here where you can get a growler to share with your crew or take home.

LAST STOP: Il Pizzaiolo North Hills for dinner! The Warrendale location of Il Pizzaiolo is nearby Soergel’s & offers delicious homemade pasta. Their ravioli caprese is my favorite, but the penne rosa is a CLOSE second. They also have tons of delicious pizzas as well for a shareable moment!
